STEP 2: Select an Electric Rate Plan

Rate EV-S

For Small General Service customers where Rate 27 or 30 is otherwise applicable. Requires a separate meter for EV charging; the monthly base fee is included in the calculations below. Charges per kWh and per kW determined by average load factor of the previous calendar year. New customers without a full calendar year of load factor data are placed in the lowest tier.

Rate EV-M

For Intermediate General Service customers where Rate 35 or 37 is otherwise applicable. Requires a separate meter for EV charging; the monthly base fee is included in the calculations below. Charges per kWh and per kW determined by average load factor of the previous calendar year. New customers without a full calendar year of load factor data are placed in the lowest tier.

Rate EV-L

For Intermediate or Large General Service customers whose vehicle charging demand exceeds 350 kW. Requires a separate meter for EV charging; the monthly base fee is included in the calculations below. Charges per kWh and per kW determined by average load factor of the previous calendar year. New customers without a full calendar year of load factor data are placed in the lowest tier. Standard generation supply service is available if your demand is below 500 kW, otherwise supply charges change monthly using Last Resort service or a contracted third party provider. Demand charges billed per kVA; however, for EV charging, the power factor should be very close to unity.

Rate 27 Small General Service Time of Day

For small commercial customers whose demand does not exceed 350 kW. If adding EV charging to an existing service, your billing demand will be the sum of any current demand and the potential new demand indicated below. For the calculations below, this rate's monthly base fee of $44 is not included since it is assumed EV charging is being added to existing service.

Rate 30 Small General Service

For small commercial customers whose demand does not exceed 200 kW. If adding EV charging to an existing service, your billing demand will be the sum of any current demand and the potential new demand indicated below. For the calculations below, this rate's monthly base fee of $44 is not included since it is assumed EV charging is being added to existing service.

Rate 35 Intermediate General Service

For larger commercial customers whose demand does not exceed 200 kW. If adding EV charging to an existing service, your billing demand will be the sum of any current demand and the potential new demand indicated below. For the calculations below, this rate's monthly base fee of $270 is not included since it is assumed EV charging is being added to existing service.

Rate 37 Intermediate General Service Time of Day

For larger commercial customers whose demand does not exceed 350 kW. If adding EV charging to an existing service, your billing demand will be the sum of any current demand and the potential new demand indicated below. For the calculations below, this rate's monthly base fee of $270 is not included since it is assumed EV charging is being added to existing service.

Rate 56 Intermediate Time of Day Non-Manufacturer

For larger commercial customers whose demand exceeds 350 kW. Standard generation supply service is available if your demand is below 500 kW, otherwise supply charges change monthly using Last Resort service or a contracted third party provider. Demand charges billed per kVA; however, for EV charging, the power factor should be very close to unity. For the calculations below, this rate's monthly base fee of $350 is not included since it is assumed EV charging is being added to existing service.
