Most of your EV charging will be done at home (maybe all), but there's a growing number of charging stations across the country in case you need to charge-up on the road.

Public charging can be done two different ways - Level 2 charging or Level 3 DC Fast Charging (DCFC). Level 2 charging generally takes several hours to charge a vehicle, whereas DCFC charging can fill most batteries to about 80% in 20 to 30 minutes. DC fast charging generally comes in three different plug types CCS, CHAdeMO and Tesla/NACS. Different EV makes require different plugs. Adapters may be available for some configurations.
